Before this car became a champion, and after it was complete and about to be delivered to me, the engine caught fire at the restoration shop. Some very smart people prevented a total loss, but the car was delayed another year. Thank God for good insurance.
We had to replace all the wiring, hoses, firewall components and the entire car had to be repainted from front to back, in order to be right.
